Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for managing the multichannel workflow across the company, requiring the implementation of
market-leading sales strategies, evolving technologies, and platforms. Establishes and maintains multichannel SOPs. Ensures consistent collaboration, training, and alignment with retail. Maintains a culture aligned with GISD core values and leadership principles. 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Function (s): 

 

1. Achieves multichannel growth in the rapidly evolving ecommerce market by developing strategic initiatives utilizing the latest technology, AI, automation, equipment, platforms, and sales trends.


2. Maintains an optimized multichannel workflow by implementing and updating SOP’s and ensuring that training, site visits, and communication of KPI’s are consistent. 

3. Works closely with retail leadership to ensure strong collaboration, feedback, training, and alignment on identifying high-value, high-margin goods for multichannel. 

 

4. Identifies new product categories, sales channels, and pricing strategies to increase revenue & margin and optimize sell-through rate & average sale price. 

 

5. Manages systems and personnel that ensure products have auction titles, product details, and photographs that meet quality assurance and verification/authenticity standards in compliance
with all applicable laws and marketplace guidelines.

 

6. Creates a positive work culture utilizing GISD core values and leadership principles. Motivates, engages, and develops direct reports to create bench strength at all levels.

 

7. Delegates priorities effectively and holds direct reports accountable to goals and deadlines. 

 

8. Ensures that performance, behavior/conduct, time/attendance, and policies/procedure expectations are met. Provides support as needed when expectations are not met. 

 

9. Ensures performance evaluations, progressive discipline, and other required documentation is delivered on time and according to company expectations. 

 

10. Ensures employment relationship issues are resolved according to the organization’s best practices, culture, core values, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

11. Ensures customer, donor, vendor, and interdepartmental relationships are maintained at a high level. Resolves escalated complaints when difficult situations arise.

 

12. Participates in recruitment process, including selecting, interviewing, and recommending applicants as needed. 

 

13. Ensures the work site is supplied, safe, clean, organized, and well-maintained. Opens and closes location(s) according to company guidelines. 

 

14. Safeguards company property including donations. Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the SAP Department and Director.

 

15. Cross-trained in ecommerce warehouse workflows and supports operations as needed. 

 

16. Follows directions and completes other tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

 

Education: High School diploma/GED required; BA/BS, or equivalent combination of education and experience
in related field preferred


Experience: Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a related field, or 3 years of GISD level 4-6 experience, or an equivalent combination of past experience and GISD experience.


Certificates & Licenses: Must have a CA Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance company requirements. Must also have an insured, reliable vehicle.

 

Work Schedule: Available during all operational hours & for after-hours/emergency calls as needed.
