Overview

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Sorts, cleans, prices and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. Accepts donations and provides assistance on sales floor as needed. Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions Statement(s): 

  1. Inspect, clean price and tally donations produced for sales floor.
  2. Pushes racks and carts to retail floor and assists in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
  3. Opens and closes donations area. Accepts and safeguards donations and keeps processing and donation areas in a clean, safe and organized manner.
  4. Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
  5. Assists truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
  6. Guides ambassadors in all production/donation procedures.
  7. Completes Daily Assignment log, breaks and meals per management to ensure adequate coverage.
  8. Assists in collecting all production/donation paperwork throughout the day.
  9. Prices product for customers/staff when necessary.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Experience for Processing Worker II: Minimum of 6 months of entry level supervisory experience or Minimum of 6 months relevant experience (retail/ used goods) and completion and demonstration of competencies of leader step 1 career pathway.

Certificates & Licenses: None

Other Requirements: Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise famous brand names is preferred.
